Though this pizza joint has been here longer than I've been in Tucson (since the '70's), I only learned about it a few weeks ago from my son. I've been to New York City a few times, and, while I am no NY expert, this pizza joint closely resembles some of the places I have visited. Not a fancy restaurant by any stretch, but great service and great pizza. That's all you really need. Lots of toppings to choose from, great salads, and a nice beer selection.

Hidden Pizza is a gem tucked away on the east side of Tucson. Its old-school, nostalgic atmosphere exudes comfort and charm, setting it apart from the cookie-cutter decor of many modern eateries. I adore its originality! When Dave Portnoy from Barstool Sports reviewed a local pizza spot in Tucson, I couldn't help but feel he missed out by not visiting New York Pizza. I'm eager for him to give it a try in the future; I'm certain it would earn high praise! The service here is exceptional - the staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Orders are promptly served, and the pizza? Absolutely phenomenal.
Ambiance is great. The place was bought by new owners and the interior looks great. Kinda sad the trophy wall is gone. If you know you know. Place is a local staple in my opinion. This is our third time eating here. Every time we come here I always wonder why we don't come more often because the pizza is SO good. We have a big family so we always get the family size pizza. The one that barely fits in your car. The pizza is SO good & it tastes just as good as the pizza you would buy at the train station in New York. The customer service is always amazing. We normally just pick the pizza up, but the restaurant is cute. They have arcades you can play and beer by the pitcher. Definitely check it out if you're in the area.
Family size was perfect for my coworkers and I. Exceptional service and not to mention the atmosphere was laid back, we hung out for a bit after we finished eating.
